I am an MRI Clinical Scientist at Philips Healthcare, based in Rochester, Minnesota, where I work closely with Mayo Clinic to develop and translate advanced imaging technologies into clinical practice. I also serve as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Radiology at Mayo Clinic.

My work sits at the intersection of medical imaging, machine learning, and clinical translation. I am particularly interested in developing robust and efficient methods for accelerated MRI, image reconstruction, and cardiovascular imaging, with a focus on bringing cutting-edge computational techniques into real-world clinical workflows.

Prior to this, I completed my postdoctoral training at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center under the supervision of Prof. Reza Nezafat, where I worked on advanced reconstruction methods and AI-driven imaging approaches.

I received my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2023, under the supervision of Prof. Mehmet Akçakaya. My doctoral work focused on accelerating MRI acquisition and improving image quality through optimization and learning-based techniques.

I also hold a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Bilkent University (2017), where I worked with Prof. Emine Ülkü Sarıtaş on Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI) and magnetostimulation safety limits, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Bilkent University (2015).
